North is always conditional, a direction rather than a location, an idea and experience of where we or others might live, but our ideas about it can be fundamentally to how we see and relate to our own life and culture.'

We were awarded Creative Scotland Funding, a Daiwa and Japan Society Grant to deliver this project and toured work to the Creative Exchange, Perth, connected with Gaada, and the Shetland Gallery in Shetland and exhibited in An Lanntair in Stornaway July - November 21 as well as exhibiting with reciprocal venues in Japan.
